Quick character description!

So! The little beardie below deserves an introduction! 

•Written biography: give defining personality traits, their everyday place, and their deepest desires and fears. Name? Story goal? What stands in his way? What does he stand to lose? Flaws? Strengths? Hates? Loves? Fears? Dreams? Secrets?

Andretti is a sentient pancake. He mainly lives in a glass box, but his owner affords him the freedom of roaming around the house most of the time. He spends most of it by the window, taking in the sun and watching the delicious insects tease him only inches away.

In his story, he aims to eat the bug that broke into his domain. It’s the biggest bug he’s ever seen in the entire universe. There are only two things standing in the way: his massive pudge and the bug’s lightning speed. He doesn’t know it, but he stands to lose his safety if he would do anything to catch that bug (which he would).

Flaws: has no foresight, is clumsy, doesn’t understand that gravity results in falling

Strengths: the most determined potato in the galaxy, trusts and loves his owner

Hates: seeing himself in the mirror, glass windows and boxes

Loves: bugs, getting petted, sunlight, making a mess when he’s mad

Fears: fire, birds, being upside down, being trapped

Dreams: eating the juiciest bugs as often as he can, walking through glass at will

Secrets: he has found out how to crawl onto surfaces his owner didn’t expect he can reach (like the windowsill with the flower pots)

After developing this little guy over a considerable portion of my textbook, I’ve come up with an idea/prototype I’m happy with. I feel like I’m capturing that he’s a fat goofball who thinks he can go fast. Looking forward to pushing this little friend even more. (:
