A note I made to myself in my New Year Resolution list.
Happy New Year everyone! Let’s all try are best to improve ourselves as much as we can!
If you go into your bathroom with the lights off and chant “Death Stranding” into the mirror 3 times, Hideo Kojima appears and shoves a baby down your throat.
I am 100% with you on Dark having totally played us. I also don't believe that that was really Damien and Celine we were talking to. And if it was, they were tricked too, and were repeating Dark's lies. I've got my own 'art piece' planned that I wanted to have out before the livestream possibly f**ks it, but I got sick. It's a video of Dark giving a sort of soliloquy, and, as Dark does, they have bursts of rage, something I didn't have the voice for. I may be better tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
I completely understand why people think that Celiene and Damien make up Darkiplier, considering what we see at the end of Who Killed Markiplier, but one of the big reasons why I question if his backstory is really so cut-and-dry is due to Mark’s February livestream about A Date With Markiplier.
One of the many points that stick out to me is (and I hope that I’m remembering this correctly) that Dark isn’t human and is an entity that is good at pretending to be human. If he consists of two human beings, then why would he have to learn how to pretend to be human? And that’s only just one of my suspicions when it comes to the “Celine + Damien = Darkiplier” theory, or any theory that involves Dark being human at one point. Unless Mark changed his mind after the Feburary livestream (which don’t get me wrong, it’s not impossible that he changed his mind) it makes more sense to me that Darkiplier was manipulating us the whole time.
It’s a big reason why I decided to draw my Darkiplier picture, since I didn’t see many theories or fan art about Dark manipulating us at the end of WKM.
But anyways, I hope you’re feeling better now. Your art piece sounds pretty cool and I’d be totally interested in seeing it if you feel well enough to make it.
So, um, this kind of sucks. I really would rather not have to buy a new charger, since I’m trying to save as much money as I can to pay off my student loans and chargers are expensive! But I can’t make art if my laptop has no battery life, so I really don’t have a choice.

So I have a confession... I wrote that whole part about a WKM livestream because I could have sworn that I saw Mark make a Tumblr or Twitter post about making a WKM livestream after he came back from his hiatus. Thing is, after people kept asking, I went to go look for that post and I... couldn’t find it... so I guess I might have imagined it or something?
Now, it’s highly likely that he will make a livestream about WKM, since he made one about ADWM, but yeah I think I made a mistake. Sorry about that.
