what if the Raven wasn't so apathetic in the beginning. like she still came off as kind 'distant' but was more open and vocal over the wellbeing of her contractor as well as taking more initiative to ensure they were safe but after years and years of watching them go through the actions of becoming Glen, of seeing them change so much, of seeing and being a part/assisting so much death that she decided it was best to become more cold, more uncaring of how everything went and then Tragedy of Sablier happened and that FURTHER backed up her actions and in that 100 or so years where she stayed in the Abyss, waiting for when the next contractor showed up, she swore to herself that she would be loyal to the end but apathetic and follow orders to a T. but then Gilbert pops back up and she remembers him running around the manor, playing with Oswald and remembers how the Tragedy happened and how he was cut down and she decided that this one time, she would shed some of her uncaring self. Just this once.
