@ispeakhalflies Thank you for your requests! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Without his master, Dark Rebellion felt lost. There was no one to guide him, to protect him and to watch over him. He felt so scared; he had never been apart from his master for this long. He had no idea what had happened to him, whether he was okay or if he was hurt. That was his purpose, to protect his master from harm.
He felt alone, separated from his comrades, his fellow soldiers. He was somewhere unfamiliar, being led by an unfamiliar hand. Everything felt so terrifying and lonely until Odd Eyes was by his side.
Odd Eyes brought a warmth, a comfort, that Dark Rebellion had lost when his master had disappeared. Odd Eyes was there when no one else was, when Dark Rebellion had hit his lowest point.
When the attack on his homeland had begun, it had created a darkness deep within Dark Rebellion’s heart, deep within his soul that resonated with his master’s feelings of doubt and fear. Odd Eyes brought hope to extinguish all of those dark feelings, Odd Eyes chased away all the fear.
Now Dark Rebellion only saw hope, a reason to continue fighting even without his master to guide him.
Reira has been terrified for so long as he can remember. It seems as though his short life has been filled with horrors that he can’t outrun or hide from. He can’t escape to matter how hard he tries, to matter how hard he fights. Fear has built a home in his heart.
He searches for something, anything to quiet the fear that threatens to scream and shake him if he ignores it for too long. He tries to find comfort in the woman that calls herself ‘mother’ or in the man that calls himself ‘brother’. He tries to seek comfort from them but he never finds it.
The only source of comfort that Reira has found comes in the form of a crimson eyed boy with a blinding smile that makes Reira feel safe for the first time in too long. Reira loves him, in the way that he used to love the family that he barely remembers. Yuuya brings hope and light into Reira’s small, frightened heart.
Reira holds Yuuya’s hand, holding him so tight because he never wants to let go. When he looks into Yuuya’s eyes, he knows that Yuuya never want to let go either.
