1989 • HOW WE MET • What do you think of from 1989? No, I'm not talking Taylor Swifts album either (love it too). Have you ever heard of a small English band named the Rolling Stones??? Amazing! Don’t you think? Well, I had a gaggle of girl friends that all had tickets back in high school and we needed a ride to the sold out Steel Wheels 1989 concert. This cute and fun teenage boy picked us all up in his super cool Jeep Wagoner (boy oh boy, he still wishes he still had that truck!) and drove us down and since he got a free ticket he sat right next to me. On purpose....the man with the plan. As the night went on we definitely made a connection and became inseparable for almost 32 years! So fast forward to now, and he found this amazing concert shirt from @madewell via @shopetcjewelry for my bday and funny thing, I think I had the original, if memory serves me right, but its been long gone. We are definitely not teens anymore now, but dang this ride has been fast and fun. So glad we found each other back then. I just wish I had a photo of us two from the concert. Swipe left.
