Frozen 3 concept pt.2
A lot of people liked my Frozen 3 concept post
I'mma start off with explaining that I'm not the biggest fan of Frozen and I'm definitely not a fan of Elsa's character in general. But as m
So I thought maybe I could build more on that. I really appreciate the attention it got and if anyone has any suggestions, comment. I'd love to hear your ideas as well.
For now, I'll be covering the other elemental spirits. As I suggested in my original post, there'd be a forest of spirits per seasonal spirit. So four spirits of each element. I thought it would be much cooler if each group of spirits took different forms and just like how Elsa's spirits are based off of legends in the Norwegian area, I thought I'd do the same for the others.
I apologise ahead of time incase I misunderstood some of these or got them wrong but I did also take a few creative liberties without going too off script with the original folklore.
I would also like to explain a bit on how this is gonna kinda work. When it comes to what forms the spirits take –in my original post– I explained how they most likely inhabit some type of vessel or even their own element as well as the technicalities of that idea. The fire spirit is mainly the only spirit that really needs a physical animal for a vessel than the others so the fire spirit will have to be a real animal across these.
Spring [Scotland]
• Water = Tarbh Uisge / Water Bull
Basically the same concept as the water horse, Nok, but without the whole 'death' thing in it original lore.
• Wind = Cù-sìth
A green phantom hound said to bark 3 times and you better be safe by the third or you'll die from terror. The reason I chose this for wind of all things is because when I read it was a green phantom dog, I immediately thought of like the smoky type of phantom. It's more of a personal thing for me and the wind typically doesn't need a vessel so it would be cool if it could use a green fog to take a ghostly form of a hound.
• Fire = Tarantula
I read somewhere that in Scotland, they didn't really account fire with the rest of the elements because they believed fire was extra special or something. I'm sorry if I'm just goofing right now, but I couldn't find ANYTHING related to fire for a fire spirit so I just went with something that was different from the other spirits I had.
• Earth = Dragon
Because there were quite a few dragon lores in Scotland and earth can take whatever form it wants but it has to be in multiples and made from it's own element. My idea with this is that maybe the legend of dragons came from the earth spirit taking this form and the fire spirit would blast fire from within their mouths. Maybe to ward off intruders from the forest? 🤷 You never know.
Autumn [Japan]
Japan has some absolutely WACKY legends and I absolutely love it 😆
• Water = Kawauso
Basically river otter spirits. Double checking on it, it seams that it's just how they say "otter" in Japanese but they have a form of lore around them.
• Wind = Nothing
I really couldn't find anything for a wind spirit. There are many spirits that are said to be ghosts of humans so, maybe, what we can do to differentiate between Gale (Elsa's wind spirit) and Autumn's wind spirit is that Gale makes (kind of) bird chirp sounds while Autumn's wind makes more humanly sounds. Kinda like the wisps from Brave.
• Fire = Basan
A large fire-breathing chicken spirit
My humor is 100% broken I'm sorry.
• Earth = Abura-sumashi
They are spirits, thought to be the ghost of people who stole oil and are depicted as creatures with straw coats and potato-like stone heads. There not nearly as big as earth giants or dragons (about 6.5ft tall) but the spirit would make up for it's number of them.
EDIT: Now that I'm reading through this again, the way they are described to look sounds way too similar to the trolls in Frozen🧐 Maybe this could be a way to connect the trolls to the magic system that are the spirits. Because they're not nearly as big as the other rock spirits, there's so many in number that they've spread to other countries and the ones in Arendelle are just a small tribe out of MANY more. It could also explain how Grand Pabbie can use the Aurora Borealis to see visions, maybe the light spirit stayed with him – trusting him as a fellow spirit – until Anna was ready to take over the roll.
Summer [Arabia]
There weren't nearly as many spirit-like legends as I thought there were in Arabia but oh well.
• Water = Bahamut
A sea monster said to support earth and typically takes the shape of a giant fish/whale but is also sometimes depicted with the head of a hippo or elephant. I think for now we'd just stick to it being a giant fish made out of water.
• Wind = Dragonfly
Once again, I couldn't find anything for wind. I had originally thought this up for spring's fire spirit but dragonflies are said to be a sign of summer so...
• Fire = Falak
A giant serpent said to reside in hell. But since the fire spirit inhabits a real animal, I looked up the largest snake in Arabia and got the Arabian Cobra that's about 1-2 meters in length.
• Earth = Roc
An enormous bird of prey. Tells of a mountain hovering in the air flying over the landscape. Along the lines of the giant bird from the Winx: legend of the lost kingdom, movie. Which now that I'm looking at it, is from the exact legend. They call it Roc.

Giselle (aespa) - The 5th Mini Album [Whiplash] Concept Pics
I had an idea for a new OC floating around my head for a bit, and I was finally able to get something down here. So, this is a new dragon character. Their working name so far is Skylar, with the nickname Mocha. I don't have much for them just yet, I am kinda thinking that they might be a librarian or own a bookstore, but aside from that, not too sure what else I may have in mind for them. Overall, I think I'm happy with how this turned out, but I'm not fully sure if this is 'done' yet.
