how do u think they interact w ppl who used to be on the train if they ever do
-> tulip: i think she’d kind of want to compare and contrast experiences a little. i think she might be off-put at first, doesn’t seem the type to launch into deep convos w/ strangers like that. but discussing general train mechanics and segueing into different experiences might be kinda cathartic for her. don’t know if she’d try and keep in contact or not. depends!
-> lake: probably wouldn’t want to interact much w/ them at all. she’s left that behind. if asked questions, she’ll answer honestly; she’s a very open person. but nothing is there for her so her attitude is “good for you or sorry that happened, but i’m not obligated to talk to you about this”.
-> jesse: “oh thank GOD another person who gets it” type attitude. might be really interested in trading stories, it’d help him process the more difficult parts. might end with him accidentally consoling the person but would be better at asserting his boundaries here. would probably end up making a new friend though!
-> grace: she’d... feel pretty bad. i think being reminded of who she was on there would be really hard to reconcile with. honestly might be one of those few times she doesn’t want to be an active participant in a conversation... post-character development i think she’d absolutely even try and give them advice. but mostly keep things brief.
-> simon: [sounds of a broom sweeping the ground]
-> ryan: kind of similar “oh someone who gets it” vibes but also a tinge of maybe melancholy leaking into the convo. ryan would focus on recounting the parts he actually had fun with, sharing some funny stories, but... some parts of it he knows are only staying between him and min-gi. wouldn’t contact them again.
-> min-gi: finds a polite excuse to leave the conversation; it’s... a lot. yeah, it’s nice to find someone who understands, but, he wants to look forward. he’s spent way too much time looking back and he can practically feel his right hand burning the entire time the convo’s going down.
