@juniorjules (ivyaugust on ao3) has a story called never grow up that i love, also back in my super active days she and i used to talk all the time about trobed parent hcs so she's a great person to go to <3 also advanced familial reconcilation by @nadir-barnes (biggod on ao3) has parent trobed vibes even though it's about abed's little brother and not trobed offspring. i also have my own parent trobed fic every little thing (is gonna be alright) that i really wanted to turn into a whole verse but who tf knows what i have time for anymore. but i'm always down to talk about parent trobed hcs on here!! hmu any time <3

It was about the community movie that was announced a while ago, I was in my feels about how disappointing I feel like it's probably gonna be, especially because the actors are really talented and they deserve better than a bland caricature of who they played. my irl friends don't get it so I can't complain to them lol

ohh gotcha! yeah i just wasn't sure if there were spoilers or maybe someone from the cast/crew leaked something about the plot but yeah, just the premise is a valid reason to not be happy and you're def not alone in that so dw :)

no, but i'm not gonna get into the whole thing about why, i've said it before and you can prob find it if you search my blog, but it's not really important. point is, i'm not gonna be debbie downer and try to ruin everyone else's good mood by going around being a sourpuss just because it's not what i personally wanted. i know most people are very excited and i'm honestly happy for everyone who wanted a movie and are now celebrating - i've always known that my opinion was the vast minority and i've never tried to push it on anyone else, and i'm not gonna start now. and i am excited to see the fandom reinvigorated a bit regardless of the reason! a lot of people are very happy right now and that's great, so i'd rather focus on the positivity of that and the good vibes currently being exuded.

(btw, i'm obviously still gonna end up watching the movie, and if it turns out to be really good then i'll gladly eat crow about this whole thing, in fact i hope that's what happens!! i just have no way of knowing right now)
