Finally caught up on Insecure and I don’t hate Molly?? I might be the only one but she isn’t wrong.

Issa went behind her back to get Andrew to help her. All of this after she and Molly have been weird and she called the girl up for a huge favor like it’s nothing. How many of y’all would have potentially jeopardized a relationship that was just mending for a friend that is constantly needing something and lately tearing you down?

And it’s not like molly wasn’t speaking facts on the Condola issue. I didn’t particularly like her but even I can see that condola did the right thing for herself by walking away bc newsflash Laurence and Issa aren’t done with each other! Next weeks episode will prove that just by the fact that they met up, and there were the secret texts leading up to this. No the texts weren’t treacherous BUT they started a secret between L and I. And Issa was naive to think she could be friends with that girl. THAT is what Molly was trying to warn her about, and the delivery was too abrasive for the time I think, but she wasn’t wrong, her method of comminicatinf was.

And no she shouldn’t have brough any of this up at the block party ( again, communication and timing is everything) which is why I’m glad she called her therapist bc she does need to learn to reach out and forgive and also be forgiven. She’s argumentative by nature and that’s her profession but I think she needs to be the one to call as well. I just understand that she’s fed up with Issa after skipping thanksgiving when they were supposed to talk ( keep in mind that Issa did not tell her what was really going on so Molly just assumes she flaked) and that Issa walked away from her at the restaurant.
