“Catra and Zuko compassions confuse and annoy the hell out of me.

Zuko did what he did to get his father’s respect. Catra did what she did because she was mad at her girlfriend for “leaving her behind” and “outshining” her.

Zuko had to EARNED the other’s trust, Catra did not and was easily accepted with open arms (the only flack she got was a slight scolding from Perfuma about Scorpia and Frosta punched her in the face).

Zuko suffered the consequences for his actions, Catra did not (and if she did, it was BARLEY).

Zuko blames his actions on himself. Catra blames her actions on everybody else, especially Adora.

Any keep in mind that Zuko was a traumatized teenager too, so age isn’t an excuse, even if Catra was a teen. And “being traumatized” isn’t an excuse either, considering Zuko went through just as much trauma as (if not more than) Catra did. Like come on! He got burned in the face by his father just for speaking out of term! I’m not saying that Catra’s trauma isn’t important and I’m not saying that it’s a competition, but I’m saying that it’s not an excuse to hurt other victims who went through violence and trauma too.

If anything, Catra reminds me more of Azula.”

“I don't know why the animators keep getting these deadlines they obviously can't make. Every time an episode is about to air, it gets canceled because of "finishing details or making sure the animation is 👌👌". Is there some miscommunication between the animation team and the schedule makers? The rush can be seen like with that knockoff manon and Luka looking all cheap. I'd rather wait a long time and see top quality i know they're capable of instead of rushing or canceling at the last second.”

Confession Kdrama

I started watching Confession because it has the same lead actor, Lee Junho, as Just Between Lovers, a kdrama I adored, plus the series was tagged on MDL as "sassy female lead," and I am always here for sass. That being said, Confession is the complete opposite of Just Between Lovers. The only thing they have in common is the same lead male actor, Lee Junho. There is not even a whiff of romance as the closest person to a female lead is clearly coded as a friend/lil' sister (all you have to do is look how they styled her hair as curly to figure that out), but as of right now (ep. 3) she's not in most scenes.

That being said, Confession is a captivating and gripping mystery crime drama that is anything but dull. Every time I think the story has given us a key to an answer, a whole new plot path opens up with even more twists and turns. Things I thought were standalone plot points end up interconnecting with other plot points in fascinating and unexpected ways.

Even though the series is just beginning, I can already tell by how the story has unfolded so far that every character will end up entwined together in an engaging web of stories once the series is over. Every actor/character is believeable, though it's clear they each have ulterior motives that have not yet unfolded for us. The storytelling kind of reminds me of Orphan Black (except without any of the clones/scifi parts and significantly less religious cults and random human tails). The mystery keeps getting deeper, more complicated, and more compelling as the drama goes on. I know I haven't really given any plot details, and that's intentional because even a small detail could end up being a substantial spoiler, but if you're into murder mysteries and corporate intrigue, this drama is for you.
