If I have to make an assumption, based off of the comments that I've seen under Nyanko's yt posts, people may want to respect the Canon cus with everything that had happened to Nyanko because of Sprunki's popularity, they probably don't want another situation to happen where it will drive an young artist away from their project. Although this could be speculation.
