positive things!! i really enjoy the kg3 characters. theyre actually much more fleshed out than OZZY (which i’m still pissed about.) like we have a mission for emmy and davey!! they got their share of screen time and it played really well. emmy was awesome, davey was badass and ppl say austin was the weakest but i actually really like him and feel he was still given a pretty big role, being a great supporting character in a ton of missions despite not having one himself and still given a chance to shine unlike SOMEONE (ozzy) like austin fans still get their food unlike OZZY FANS. WHERE THEIR FAV CHARACTER’S ONLY PURPOSE IS TO DIE anyways it’s kind of cool to have a character thats actually genuinely sweet yknow? cause most kids don’t gaf and i love them but like it’s refreshing to have a really sweet boy who’s so chill and cares sm once in a while :D austin’s so cool. and god emmy having a secret badass dark side? FUCKING AWESOME. it’s so cool seeing the nice characters snap cause it has more of a badass impact. shes genuinely so sweet too!! and davey being the saviour and helping out in the last mission is kind of a cool way for the principal’s kid to play a role cause jerome didnt even do shit in the first game (no offense ily baby) and penny died (no offense ily baby) so davey jumping in and helping (ily baby) is so fucking cool. and him carrying the axe is so great man god i didn’t expect to love him this much. everyone’s so great and funny and i love them. and i adore the abundance of new animations and facial expressions here, it’s such a nice surprise and really cool to see. all in all i enjoy the new fleshed out characters and the new animations. connor was right when he said kg3 has the best parts of kg1 and kg2 imo cause i feel the puzzle aspect was the best part in kg1, kg2 the best in lore and characters, both combining to have kg3 to have great puzzles and cool characters (if you ignore the plot holes..) can’t wait to see kg4!!

Hello- i've returned for the third (second out of anon) and possibly last time for now- This one is really, really long, so I deeply apologize in advance.
Just a theory or idea i had that I haven't seen anyone commenting something similar so far but,
I genuinely believed that the 2024 Squid Game was specifically made for Gi-Hun. What do I mean by that?
Since Gi-Hun left the Squid Games as the winner, he was being watched, he had a tracker (which he quickly removed 3 years ago, but doesn't stop him from being watched secretly). Returning at the game, Gi-Hun knew exactly what to do, he had a "plan" - enter the game, help as many people as possible, do the voting, leave, possibly repeat. However, by the end of the 1st season, we know that Il-Nam was the one choosing the games based on what he used to play.
Now that he is dead, who is the one deciding the games?
In-Ho, the Frontman, the "archenemesis" to our protagonist.
Knowing that Gi Hun would want to return at some way, In-Ho made a plan, a new strategy to "break" Gi-Hun and show the reality isntead of whatever fantasy he is living in (which tbh, Gi-Hun IS living in a fantasy). Everything that happened in Season 2 was specifically calculated to be used Against Gi-Hun. He knew the first game, In-Ho used that for his favor, so Gi-Hun would gain trust (which In-Ho himself used that in the following episode), and then completely broke the trust, bc he himself, chose new games that Gi-Hun had no idea how to counter (how the hell does one counter Mingle???).
Besides of the games itself, we also can think of the new voting system, which was a surprise to both Gi-Hun and us as watchers BUT, it has a purpose.
It has the purpose of dividing the players even further
Players who were in the X team, wanted to leave and have a reason to absolutely despise those on O team. Those on O team, were mostly greedy (Nam-Gyu), or just plain stupid (Thanos, bc he was high).
Why Nam-Gyu? he is in debt by 300 million wons, he could LEAVE after Mingle and pay his debt and still have a bit more for himself, But he STILL kept going, because that's waht the O team are doing. They don't think themselves as that they will die in the next game, they think as the fact of, Winning the next game = more money.
The division between X and O is even more obvious during the Lights' Out, where they actively go after X members to eliminate for both, more money and less people voting to leave.
This is the main reason of the new voting system, it shows people greediness, how far can one go when money Is evolve? And as we know, even in IRL situation, is not hard to find a story of someone killing their own partner for more money, etc.
This new voting system was to show Gi-hun that doesn't matter how good he has and other people around him have (like Geum-Ja, Dae-Ho, Jun-Hee, etc) there is always that thing that control the scales, Money. When Money is involved, humans lose their humanity, they become no less than lions after the same deer.
Now it's up for Gi-Hun, does he still believe, after everything he has seen, has heard, has watched, after the killing of multiple people by the hands of other players, does he still believe that people will change? Does he believe that he has more power than money has on people?

I can't get into Black pink. Their whole vibe seems so fake. And I know not everyone in the industry are friends , but with them it you can tell that their just a industry group. Music wise it all just reminds me of 2ne1.
all this shipping discourse is so shitty. personally im a byler but i dont involve myself in any discourse with milevens + anti-bylers but i hate when other people do because CAN'T WE ALL JUST EXIST PEACEFULLY? i know i sound frustrated but it is just very frustrating.
there's no need to send anon hate or screenshot posts from the other party and go off on a rant about why they're wrong. these days the byler tag is just filled with discourse, some of it relating to milevens some of it relating to other things. everyone just needs to learn that we're all allowed to have our own opinions about different things.

I feel like we should just get rid of shipping honestly. And this is such a level-headed and mature thing for you to say. I can't even go into the tag of my favorite ship, because people just rag on it and invalidate it in every way possible. My friends and I just want to go on the tag and look at cute photos and fics of our ship, but we can't because people use our tag to hate on the ship. It's really not fair. And I know people say "Well then scroll or block" but that's not the point. The point is about being respectful to all of the ships regardless if you like it or not.
I personally am not a fan of Steddie and I have my reasons why. But you will never find me spewing hate in the Steddie tag because that's not my place and I have no reason to be in the tag in the first place. Like...why do people spend so much time and energy on talking about any ship they hate???? (Hint: Because they actually deep down like the ship they say they hate, I'm so convinced lol.)
And like...if someone wants to hate on a ship, either do it on your own blog or use the appropriate tags and apologize if you use the wrong one!! It's there for people who ship that to enjoy! Same with the Mileven tag, Byler tag, Stancy tag, Jancy tag, etc.
I get your frustration because I am too. So many people have ruined this fandom for other people. No one knows how to get along, no one knows how to just leave other people alone, no one is allowed to have a different opinion, no one is ever allowed to critique characters, it's just so fucking exhausting. Even on this blog I've created, I've had a decent amount of messages just...complaining about a certain ship in the show and I'm just like???? Do people have thoughts and opinions on anything else that doesn't have to do with shipping???
I am sorry you can't enjoy the Byler tag now. I feel the exact same with my favorite ship. It sucks.
