Ngl, it really weird me out when someone hcs an adult sprunki (aka almost all of em) as a minor (14-16 or something like that) just so they can ship that character with sky 💔💔 I'm sorry, but hcing an adult character as a minor does NOT make it ok for you to ship them w/ a minor,,

I love Trek so much and there’s so much it does right but it has a massive fanservice problem, or at least pre-DISC Trek does. Like the fact that literally every series has to have a designated Female Character Who Wears a Custom Uniform With No Purpose Other Than Fanservice (except TOS but that’s only because basically every woman gets stuck wearing those mini dresses) is pretty bad honestly. It’s just frustrating that it was such a consistent thing on every single franchise. It wouldn’t be such a problem if male characters got hit with it with the same frequency- yes sometimes they got used in similar ways (Kirk with his uniform rips, Riker being Riker, etc) but it’s only the women that get the Designated Fanservice Catsuit so it very much stands out as not an evenly applied thing
