HG Cress Bug. This fly has accounted for more fish over 20” from our spring creeks for me than any other fly. Cress bugs or sow bugs, whatever you call them, are available to the fish 24/7 365 days a year. And in most of the spring creeks here, they are seldom more than a couple feet away from any fish.
