I never reported my rape. Or any of the other times I was assaulted & attacked & grabbed & groped. I lived in fear of being ridiculed, of not being believed, of being laughed at by police & by other people if it went to trial. Part of me can't believe we are seeing this again. And yet, 4,000 years of toxic patriarchy & its subsequent status quo of toxic masculinity will not be reversed overnight. So here we are again.
