Things are Complicated || mistersourwolftoyou
It's past 5 on a Friday afternoon. Everybody that's normally at Beacon Hills High School has gone home, everybody except Kate. Kate needs to think. She needs a place where no one will find her, and since she's the swim coach she has key to the aquatics center. She doesn't even think as she pulls her t-shirt and track pants off, revealing her sleek maroon one-piece. She has so much on her mind. She knows why she came here. She's known since she was a little girl that this was going to be her life. She excepted that, and even enjoyed it, but she never counted on him. She never counted on meeting Derek, and she sure as hell never expected to feel something for, a monster.
Yes, he was a blue-eyed, fang sprouting, monster. Kate repeated that phrase over and over again in her head, desperately trying to crush any sort of attachment she felt for the teenager. She dived into the pool, still thinking about Derek. He was so young and impressionable, but then again Kate was still young herself. She was 20, and barely even an adult even though she'd killed before. Yes, she'd killed before. She'd killed many wolves, but none of them she had gotten to know like she'd gotten to know Derek. Kate was conflicted, and needed more than anything just to forget. Right now swimming was her outlet.
