We had a fantastic time at MinamiCon 24 and are looking forward to the next one! Sadly illness has caught up with us so we will be spending much of today either at the doctors or trying to recuperate, but we will be make sure the shop will be reopened as scheduled! I had "con flu" before the plaque of 2020,caught it at the 2011 New York Comic Con had the fever (101) the minute we left the Javitz Center that Saturday afternoon and was heading home.

I didn't return to the con until 2014,it took me three months to get rid of it and that waa after I finally went to my doctor and was given antibiotics.

Any form of illness received by having close contact with people during a convention or conference.

You mix "con flu" and "rona"...you will not like that cocktail when they both hook up into your body.

Sick with the flu

I had expected after sacanime to get ill just a bit. However I woke up and felt like train reck. I couldn't even walk down stairs. Well that was yesterday, today I am doing much better. Still sucks though. I am not 100% but I will get there.

I'm having trouble paying attention to my surroundings which is good for focusing on comic boxes while costumed people walk by you

NYCC was the 10-12th last year which has been the exact days I've been sick.
