Confused about gender identity
Any transphobic comments will be ignored, as I don’t care about you transphobes and your opinions. Anyways,
Like the title says I am confused about my gender identity. When I was younger I was extremely girly and identified as a girl. I wanted to be seen as girly and pretty and feminine and the perfect little lady. Now I want to be seen as handsome, masculine, pretty, feminine, gorgeous, and androgynous all in one. I feel a little bit like a boy, a little more like a girl, and a lot like something entirely outside of the gender binary. I don’t care if people mistake me for a boy, and I don’t care if someone calls me a girl. I don’t care which pronouns people use for me, as long as it’s not the pronouns it / it’s / itself, as those simply don’t resonate with me. For me, the pronouns she/her/hers is like my favorite childhood blanket. I love it, am fond with it and I am used to it, but I outgrew it. It doesn’t cover all of me anymore, or in this situation the pronouns she/her/hers don’t describe all of me anymore. The pronouns he/him/his feels exhilarating, exciting and rebellious. It feels like the time when I got a pink frohawk haircut by my older sister. I loved the pink frohawk and I feel the same way about the pronouns he/him/his. My relationship with the pronouns they/them/theirs feels like I am one piece short of completing a puzzle. The puzzle piece I find next to me is the pronouns they/them/theirs. It looks like it could either fit or be too big, but I am not sure yet because I have yet to try it.
Does this give any insight into what my gender identity might be? Please help, and thank you for reading. :)
