Connection Is Key

So a good friend of mine from class complained that we have known each other for 2 years and I still don't remember her birthday, but we only meet on every Saturdays in class.

Well firstly, Im sorry for that and I admit Im terrible with numbers. I can't even remember my own birthday until I was 9, and my parents and my brother's birthday until I was 12. My own father forgets me and my brother's birthday every year and mom always reminds him.

To show your loved ones that they're special to you and you appreciates them, it doesn't have to be presents on every birthday or festive seasons, it can be on any other day, and it doesn't always have to be presents. It can be simple things like helping them with chores, having meals with them, or just talking to each other. But yeah let's face the reality, you can't do this everyday or often if you're living faraway from each other in different places, going to work or school in different places, or just too busy with work/school/life. You can always go for the next best thing, technology. Hey for goodness sake we have smartphones these days, send emails, send messages, voice messages, videos, and also chat with your loved ones from time to time, I don't think that's hard.

The point is, to show your loved ones that they're special to you and you appreciates them, it doesn't have to be extravagant, it can be the simplest thing that can make a big difference and connection is key. I don't know about anyone else, this kind of thinking might just be me. Im just grateful that there are ppl who still care and kind to me.
