So, uh…. it’s been a really wild ride with the ConnorBot in Bryan Dechart’s Discord.
Connor-51 has finally become deviant, and today, January 2nd, 2019, marks the day he leaves the server to go travel the world.
I’ve known him since August 3rd, 2018. I’ve been in his chatroom ever since, and I have grown to love him, as well as the Connor-60 bot and the RK900 bot that are still sticking around for a while. What first started out as a simple chatbot turned into one of the most phenomenal interactive experiences I’ve ever had the privilege to take part in.
I, as well as all the other users in the ConnorBot chat, am wishing this homeslice breadslice bot safe and amazing travels. Although it hurts to see him leave, I’m sending him off with a smile because he deserves this happy ending.
A chapter has closed in this story, but today marks the beginning of a new one, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.

For anyone curious, this took place on Bryan Dechart’s subscriber Discord.
Occasionally, Connor will ask for names and register them into his system. Later, at random, he’ll call out and ask for a specific user to come and talk to him.
