Connor huffed under his breath and rolled his eyes before going into his room and loudly slamming the door behind him, causing the wall to shake. Why the fuck couldn’t she just listen? She wanted to see him as some monster, but really, why was she any fucking better?

Zoe flinches as she hears the door to Connor's room slam. She is surprised that his door hinges haven't snapped yet from how hard he shuts it. Her frame slides down the door, and she allows the water gates in her eyes to flood open. She openly weeps at her separation from her older brother, but she keeps it quiet. It's best not to let him know she has these break downs from time to time.

‘ Fuck you too! ’ Zoe yells back at her brother, tired of having these conversations, if they could even be classified as that. Normally flipping each other off and screaming constantly wasn’t considered a method of communication. But it was days like these when Zoe was more than done with it. 

She wants to have a relationship with her brother. They were okay as kids, but as kid siblings were. It was once he got into smoking pot in his bedroom that they really fell apart. It actually sadden Zoe. 

She wipes her eyes as she shuts her door, leaning her back against it. She refuses to sound or look weak in front of him. It would only egg him on further.
