au wherw steven and connie never met and steven still has issues with his corruption, so he runs away for a bit from the gems as he tries to calm down but he runs into a beautiful girl in the forest who despite his horns, his claws, and his sharp teeth- is not afraid of him.

she talks to him, even as he cannot reply back, and keeps him company until the morning where he wakes up and is less corrupted, and looks human enough to actually speak.

sadly, the girl wasn't there anymore, but he still remembers her face, and when he heads home, he has more of a smile and lightness in his chest than he did before he left.

Doodles of some weird - likely cringy- distant future... connverse.. AU? stuff that I half wanna publicize and half just wanna keep to myself. I've been wanting to make a comic about it, but my biggest problem is that I'm just terrible at dialogue and scripting. Maybe designing too.. among many other weak traits.. RIP Any guesses what's it about? Darn I guess I do have a thing with pulling blades out of Connie. I swear I didn't realize that until now. I should stop man. XD

Ok, hear me out:

Steven and Connie have a kid, but it ends up being basically the opposite of Steven (seeing as Steven is the reverse story of PD)

Steven gives up his physical gem form to create Connverse kid.

Connie is president, that’s just a given.

Result: New Steven Universe series where everything is exactly the same except they have a kid and the entire series takes place in the White House

Sad Steven Universe AU

So with the events with the new Stevenbomb…I had an idea.

What if the earrings they put on the people in the zoo weren’t just a voice, they were controlling, so that when the original humans came to the zoo they’d be hypnotized to stay.

See what I’m playing at?

So when Greg gets the earrings put on him, he forgets everything about earth. All of it. Including Steven. But they don’t work on Steven because he’s part gem. Steven’s crushed, because he can’t convince his dad to leave, so he has to leave him there.

Abandoned.

Forever.

So when Steven figures out how to escape the “sanctuary,” he tries to drag his Dad with him, and he’s in tears just begging him to come with him, but Greg stays put. Where he’s “supposed to be.”

So when Steven and the CG’s leave, he explains to them what happened, and they support him and all that.

And when they get back to earth, he tells Connie. And she’s hurt too, and she comforts Steven.

And so they grow up together, and Steven always remembers his Dad, the man who died not even remembering his son.

Years and years later, a visitor comes to earth.

It’s Blue Diamond. She hunts down Steven, and finds him.

And she apologizes, she saw the memories that the earrings were suppressing, and she kept Greg anyways, she’s guilt ridden.

And Steven is disgusted, he hates her. 

But he can’t bring himself to hurt her.

Is there an AU where Steven is the one who gets trapped in the mirror to “replace” lapis after freeing her yet? Is there an AU where the gems spend like 10 years trying to get Steven out? Is there an au where Steven has rose petal wings? Where connie spends hours going saying phrases and sentences just so that Steven can talk to them while he’s trapped in the mirror?
