Autumn is Almost Here, but not cool enough yet.
Here at the Art Center we are looking forward to Autumn and Winter. It has been too hot and rainy. Our exhibit Variations in Style runs through September 9, 2016. Diva’s is back!! The first Picasso Diva’s will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016. You can pay and register online via our website, or you can come in, but you must register and pay by Sept. 12 to get the workshop at the $20 rate, after that the workshop goes up to $25. Our first Game Night of Fall is Sept. 30, we are calling it Non Con Game Night, for those of us who do not play the kinds of games they have at Con of the Mountain. Speaking of Con of the Mountain, it will be September 30 and October 1, 2016. It is a great event and it promotes literacy. We are having our annual Attic Treasure Sale, October 15 & 16. Our Fall Festival Exhibit Opens October 14 at Noon. If you are in town for Fall Festival, stop by see the exhibit, and see if you can find a treasure. We will be set up at the Kriskrindlmarkt, which is Nov.19 &20. For those of you playing Pokemon Go, you can pick up some Poke Balls here and there are several Poke Stops in the downtown area around us.
