Yeah. He’s in real toddler jerk mode, because biology, but we’ve tried to socialize him, so he’ll run across the room to shove her down and take something, but then hug her on the ground while she’s screaming, so. He’s always liked “sharing” in that he likes that adults praise him for giving things to other kids, even though he always gives them the less good toy, or gives it to them after stealing it, but other parents fall for that nonsense and gush all over him! He knows how to work the system. Toddlers man.

I was feeling this way pretty badly earlier. And then I just thought about how no one probably thought anything of what I was embarrassed about for more than 5 secs. Like you don't think about mistakes and embarrassments other people make all the time right? Most likely they aren't either. And maybe you'll get a chance to say that thing to that person again! And Natalie Dormer has a lopsided smile and she's fucking gorgeous and I'm sure you are too :)

So Kristine important-things tagged me back when I lived at my old apartment, and that was, um, a while ago. Then Rachel conquistadoratheexplora tagged me, like, at least a week ago, possibly longer, so I am clearly terrible at coming up with nice things about myself. 

I am pretty damn good at cooking, if I do say so m'self.

I try to live my life with kindness, optimism, and awareness.

I genuinely listen in conversations, greet strangers, and make eye contact with all people I interact with (things I used to be afraid of.)

Every year I get to a better place, because I try to be. I need to remember that there is progress, and it is because of active effort that I am responsible for maintaining. 

Babies seem to like me.

Story Time

So sophomore year, my good friend Rachel and I were in a class together, and there was this event that our professors were leading that we could get extra credit for attending, and so we decided to go together. So after we were separated for a while doing some dumb small group exercises, we returned to our seats and I was complaining about our professors' attitudes, and Rachel was like, "Yeah. They're always like that. They're my professors," to which I replied, "...Yeah...I know..."  To which Rachel replied, "You've had a class with them, too?!"

We went to the event together. Because we were in the class together. We went together for the class. 

It was a shining moment in her life.
