the life of Christ is a literal metaphor, a living prophecy concerning the ultimate destiny of humanity. Christ IS the totality of man's consciousness gathered together with God in collective harmony. this is the unchanging state of the divine eternity. nothing is separate in the kingdom, no one is cut off in Christ. through the union of love and remembrance, through the promise of the sacred covenant, all is as One. what he meant to show us was that we have each one of us, crucified the Christ of our true Self, at every moment in which we deny our brother or sister as a precious and integral part of our own being. he showed us that though we had sacrificed our loving and perfect divinity even though it was completely guiltless and had only done good, we couldn't actually kill the truth of our Self. it would always return to rise again, this Love that is the divine Body of God. isn't this the best news you could believe? that no matter what you do, no matter how many horrible things you commit against your Self, the grace of Love will always overcome, and Life cannot be conquered by death.
