Soulmate AU’s
i love soulmate au’s. so i’m just gonna leave this here and if you want to use them, totally use them.
age tattoo—you and your soulmate have a tattoo of the age that you meet each other tattooed on your wrist. you have their age, they have your age. so, if you meet them when you’re 24, they have 24 on their wrist. if they are 30 when you meet them, 30 will be tattooed on your wrist.
conscious au—where you are able to hear certain things that your soulmate are thinking. not everything. maybe a random thought or a song that keeps replaying in their head. but in this au, you can’t talk to each other before you meet. when you find each other, you are able to talk to each other. you have to touch.
hair stripe—your soulmate’s hair color is a stripe on your wrist. it changes when their hair changes. hair dye, aging, etc.
first words—your soulmate’s first words are tattooed on your wrist. and vice versa.
handprint—wherever your soulmate touches you for the first time, you have a handprint. so, if you’re punched for the first time in the face, that’s where the mark is. when you touch your soulmate for the first time, it turns to a white mark (and sometimes, if disappears, but that’s up to whoever is writing).
thought tattoo au—thoughts your soulmate has appears on your wrist for a couple of minutes.
fact tattoo au—facts about your soulmate appear as a tattoo on your wrist for a couple of minutes.
writing au—whatever your soulmate writes on their wrist is what shows up on yours.
multiple romantic soulmates—you have multiple tattoos of your romantic partners symbols. they have the same as the rest of your romantic partners. very poly.
multiple platonic soulmates—think of this as your best friend group. best friend groups that are whole have their symbols. everyone in the group has a specific symbol and everyone in their group has that. if that makes sense.
timer au—you have a timer on your wrist. it counts down to the time you first meet your soulmate. OR, it counts the years that pass and when you meet, it shows the age that your soulmate is when you meet them. so like, if your soulmate is significantly older, like ten years, it won’t start until you’re born. and then if you don’t meet until they’re 35 and you are 25, 25 will show up on their wrist.
step-counter—an au where you have a step counter in your wrist and with every step you take, it counts down. when it hits zero, you find your soulmate.
every time that you happen to fall in love with someone, you have a tattoo that appears on your body. your tattoo is something that you know about. you just know. it’s tattooed on the palm of your hand. either hand, left or right. but the tattoo that you have of someone else’s is just because you have fallen in love with them. if you fall out of love, it becomes invisible. but you know that it is still there because if you touch it, you can feel the raised skin. however, it’s just black until something happens. if the love is returned, your tattoo turns white. i’m still thinking about this, but this is something that you could have so much with it.
