for a funnier aspect of the Doppelganger AU, since the thing can assimilate personalities to a degree and that even with the fight Mac's crew would generally know he'd put up, it still manages to get a good imprint on him to the point that the crew joke that both him and his Thing doppelganger manage to share a good deal of the same traits to the point that "there's not a lot of difference" and "there's a lot it got right" and both versions of him are just pissed off and like

what’s neat about the james bond parallel with Rex is that they get a British actor to voice him which further enforces my headcanon of him using swears like ‘bloody hell’ and other ones that seem quite suitable for a gentleman secret agent

I can't wait for reaction images to happen once Playmobil is properly out because I cannot get over the actual face Marla makes when Rex decides to flirt with her before they make their escape from the enemy base

especially because a) Rex you obnoxious flirt, b) really not the time and c) she's too gay for this
