My extra hot spideytorch take is that “Peter doesn’t realize he has romantic feelings for Johnny” is much less amusing than “Peter, who has romantic feelings for half the people he knows, put Johnny in the “impossible” box eons ago based on them both being taken at the time, or secret identity issues, or something else, or some combination of things, and has never in the intervening years updated this assessment”
When my dad got Disney+ the first thing I used it to watch was the 2015 Fantastic Four movie. He wandered by at one point while I was watching and referred to Reed as “Elastaboy”. Parody imitates original imitates parody.
I was briefly obsessed with the Osmonds’ music when I was... maybe fourteen? Then I kinda forgot about them. I’ve been listening to them recently, though, and a) their music is so sweet and comfortable, and b) LOOK AT HOW DELIGHTFUL THEIR CONCERTS WERE. THEY ARE THE PEPPIEST, SMILIEST, BOUNCIEST PERFORMERS I’VE EVER SEEN. THIS IS SO SEVENTIES IT’S INCREDIBLE

1. What’s your childhood story? The one that sticks out the most?
Um... Well, when I was about nine, I got a high fever and my eardrums burst. That was something. Fluid everywhere. Not pleasant.
2. Any pets? Any animals you wish you had as a pet?
We have a cockatiel, five dogs, and two cats (plus four kittens that we need to find homes for soon). I'm okay with not getting any more animals for a while. x) But someday I think I might like to get another hedgehog. Ooh, or a tortoise!
3. Which one would you explore, space or sea? Why?
...Well, see, either way you're trapped in a tiny capsule in the midst of an airless expanse, where even the tiniest malfunction could spell your quick but painful doom. But I guess I'd choose the sea, just because there are so many awesome plants and creatures down there.
4. Think of one of your fav physical places. What are three small insignificant things/facts about that place that are not insignificant to you?
I'm gonna cheat and choose my bedroom. Let's see... Number one, my door has weather stripping along the bottom of it. This is significant to me because it keeps out mice and allows me to sleep peacefully. (Once I woke up to a mouse nibbling at the pillow under my head, and I was NOT HAPPY. Mice = ick.)
Number two, my light fixture has a light bulb in it, which is significant to me because it was the very first proper light bulb I ever changed myself. (Lamps don't count.)
And number three, the ceiling is sloped, which is significant to me because the lowest part of the slope is right above the head of my bed and the highest part is above my door, which is bad because I want to put posters on my ceiling but it would look ridiculous to walk in and see a bunch of upside-down superheroes with their feet pointing upward and I can't put them the other way around because then I would be staring at upside-down superheroes every time I laid down. I am still working on solving this conundrum.
5. When you are angry or upset, what do you do to calm down?
Get away from everyone else as quickly as possible. I can only really calm myself down when I'm alone and undistracted.
6. What element would you want to bend? Earth, wind, air, or fire?
Bending is just controlling, right? Probably air, so I could FLY LIKE A BIRD. (No, really--I would flap my arms while flying around so that people would stare and gawk at me before tentatively flapping their own arms to see if it did anything.)
7. What is your fashion style? Or a fashion style you want?
My fashion style is... not fashionable. T-shirts and jeans or pajama pants. Sweaters in the wintertime. A few skirts. Just boring casual, really. x)
(But if I had the money and a job where it would be appropriate, I'd wear suits ALL THE TIME. I love black pinstriped suits.)
8. If you could give a character all the happiness/hugs/nice things in the world, which character would it be? Why?
Bart Allen. He's such a sweet, funny, oblivious bby, he should NEVER have to deal with bad stuff. Plus, he'd share the happiness/hugs/nice things with all of his friends and family.
9. What is a song that makes you think, why yes, I am ready to kill a legion of evildoers?
Ummmm.
Hmmmm.
OOH.
"Headstrong," by Trapt. Apparently the lyrics are a little dirtier than I've ever noticed while listening to it, but it still makes me want to pump my fist in the air and yell "HECK YEAH HECK YEAH." (I'd go for incarceration or rehabilitation, though. Killing evildoers is a last resort.)
HEADSTRONG, I'LL TAKE YOU ON. HEADSTRONG, TO TAKE ON ANYONE.
10. How did you find tumblr? Why did you decide to join?
I don't remember? For a while, before joining, I was subscribed to about 20 blogs by RSS, but I figured out pretty quickly that I was missing out on a lot of stuff that way. (RSS doesn't show tags, and if I remember correctly it doesn't show gifs in captions or separate captions by who wrote what.) I don't remember why I decided to start blogging instead of just following people, though.

It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
