My roommate and I had a serious talk yesterday

We have a mutual friend who is in the military

Our friend said that it's (military) really not that bad..all you do is clean, travel, and exercise

You get paid for doing all of this too

You can spend 6 years in the military and 2 years out  so you can decide whether or not if you would like to resign

In 6 years, I'll be 27 almost 28....I don't have a boyfriend and my college would be paid for if I join plus my student loans

By the time I'm 27 or 28, I would like to be settled down and start having kids

So why not join the military

Why not get my school paid for and have money in my bank account for myself

I'm really considering this...after next semester

Oh my, I just literally spent the last two hours exploring the Marine Corps website.

There's this club at my school called the Young Shakespeare's House and their description is, literally, "We hold poetry slams and open mic nights throughout the year, as well as discussing theatre and art politics, and drinking coffee. We will also have a focus on the indie scene here in town, as well as other places nearby, such as Jacksonville or Orlando."

Guys my school has a hipster club.

I'm actually thinking about this

I'm actually considering this. My mom gave a weird look/death glare and blamed it on you in a way but she's wrong. It wasn't you and I had thought about it before, just never followed through. I never thought I'd consider it again but I am. I'll need to look into it more but I'm definitely think about the air force.
