No - it’s a way of telling you I appreciate what you’re doing, and I appreciate that you’re staying strong while you do it. Because you don’t deserve the shadow you stand in. You don’t deserve to have your hope and faith and relentless efforts belittled by anyone, much less people who have actually benefitted from the systems set in place by your planets previous ruler.
I hesitate to even call her “your ancestor,” because she’s possibly the furthest thing from it. Ancestor would suggest you’re destined to follow in her footsteps, and you know what? Fuck that.
I’m really proud of Feferi, and I’m proud of her for standing up for herself.
