I used to want to be an astronaut. Studied Aviation + Aerospace Science in middle school, and attended MAST (Maritime + Science Technology) Academy in high school. Then I realized I despised math and science, and my only outlet was creating, through art, words, life. Only recently have I become comfortable in owning who I am and what makes me happy. I used to be a dancer. These days I wish I’d kept with it, but the foundation of stretching has never left (worked at a Pilates studio while in DC, and frequently took yoga classes).
