You ever just realize that you can post things to your own blog?

Anyway, I started drawing recently and I made myself a pledge to do a sketch every day at whatever level of motivation I’m at. As long as I drew one line on the paper, that’s all it needs to be. Obviously I’ll try to do more than that but just giving myself that low stakes out for any low energy/motivation days.

Do I just suck at life?

Aren’t we tired? Aren’t we tired of this way of living. And hey, maybe I am wrong. Maybe I do need to suck it up, just do the thing, and grow up. I should stop stalling and move on. But I can’t help but think of how robotic all of this feels.

I don’t like living but I love being human. I find so much joy in human connection. Two people making each other laugh. The smile on someone’s face after you give them a compliment. Finding things you have in common with a total stranger.

I have nothing more to say except perhaps fuck capitalism and how inhumane it makes everything feel.

Hi! 

I’m a bit nervous to post this, but I have finally created something I have wanted to do for a very long time now. Namely, small merch to sell! It has always sounded really fun when I’ve seen others do it and it seems like a good way to improve!

These are just test versions to see if people could be interested to buy, so if this post get 20+ notes I will try making them into real products!

Lucy’s Portable Safe Space Circle Spell

Needed:

Doll or Plushy

Pouch/Doll bag or essential oil necklace

Needle and thread

Lavender Oil

Instructions:

      Doll or Plushy should have some meaning to you for it to work better. Sew pouch to the stuffed toy or place the doll bag around it. Place bottle of lavender oil in pouch or bag.

Or

Hook necklace around doll/plushy’s neck after placing a few drops of oil in the necklace. (Make small stitches on the back of the neck over the necklace if you’re afraid it’ll break off and you’ll lose it)

Chant:

“I cast a circle where I am safe

A chamber of my mind and spirit to be free

My doll is my medium and I’m the barrier

Only good thoughts and will may enter my circle

Only good may thrive here”

Meaning:

Lavender - cleansing, healing, happiness, and relaxation

Note:

You can use a key chain plush, too. Just be careful with your oils because of some, if not many, stain. I know almost all of us who aren’t children and can’t carry stuffed animals and such/ This should make it a little easier for my older witches.

Hi! This is Salem of Today (2023) I wanted to make a quick note for 2 things.

1st) Thank you peoples who have liked this post, this was my favorite spell to create. 😁 Seeing people like it and hopefully stow it away to use later makes me happier than y'all could know!

2nd) You can now find almost everything I list above at the dollar store so heck yeah! And I also wanted to give yall an alternative to the Lavender oil.

Ground Cinnamon or Cinnamon chips (broken up Cinnamon stick) can be used in place of Lavender Oil. You could also use Bay Leaves. Both can be found in a dollar store!

Also, the dollar store might carry glass bottles. You can use that in place of the oil necklace!

When I made this spell I had access to a lot more than I do now. And with hard times comes having to make adjustments. Spells included. I shop at the Dollar Store a lot when I need to do spells. I want my spells to be inclusive for everyone. Here's the edit that's the first step forward.

Hopefully I can make some more spells and such that wont cost witches more than $5-10
