I needed a Sidestep costume layout to draw Sidestep era stuff.

I have no excuses not to draw the stuff now :(

I'll probably change my mind on it being the final version after some time...

No-coat version and explanations under cut

Wanted it to be as canonical as possible. I always really liked the original Sidestep costume design, but wanted the coat to be more... shaped? Idk. So I started with that and it kinda dictated the designs from there.

It looks bright, but everything there is matted and barely reflective. You won't see him in the dark much.

Oh and there is the caster, I've no idea what I'm doing here.

I also needed the design of the top part of base layer just for myself, to know what the suit would look like with the coat unzipped, and oh my god did I regret everything...

Bottom line: designing things and drawing them is really fucking hard and idk how people do it.
