Thanks for all the love, everyone. I really do appreciate it. The last few days I’ve been balancing between being my usual self and then crumbling into tears for a while then bouncing back to being okay again. So it’s an ongoing process of grief recovery for me.

I’m not going to take a break from social media, or take any kind of break really, because I feel that letting myself sit and do nothing will only have me standing still and recovery is all about moving forward.

I will absolutely never forget Sugar, how much she meant to me, what she gave me in her life, and every moment we spent together. She was so beyond important to me and she always will be.

But she’s resting now, and she passed the torch of watching over me to Koffie, and I know because of how Sugar cared for me, I’ll be in good paws with Koffie as well.

Sugar was a beautiful dog, was so sweet, and helped fix the parts of me that I thought were beyond fixing, and I’m so happy she was a part of my life.
