Last night on the roof and in the atrium of the Riverside Art Museum for the CURIOUS Magazine LATINX issue launch party! Visit the @curiouspublishing page for a rundown of all the creative and talented artists and musicians who were there. Congratulations to Curious Publishing for another wonderful event and publication that sold out on its first day! We can’t say enough about founder and creator @rebecca_ustrell and the amazing work she has done with Curious over the last two years. Everyone at The Arts Area is so proud of her achievements and honored to support her vision however we can. Thank you to everyone who came out last night to enjoy and support local arts in the IE. And a huge thank you to @riversideartmuseum for the use of their beautiful space. We are looking forward to returning to the museum tomorrow (Sat 3/7) to host the Latinx Identity Zine Workshop with Rebecca Ustrell and the discussion panel “Chicano Art Then and Now,” which have both needed to be moved to larger spaces due to popular demand. And if you weren’t lucky enough to get your copy of CURIOUS LATINX last night, there are more on their way. They’ll be available at the events on Saturday and as always are available online (see the Curious link in our bio). It has been an incredible start to the month, but we are just getting started! See the “March Arts Madness” link in our bio for more information about this Saturday and what’s up next for our ever growing family of creative projects. Well done everyone! 😃👏🏽💙 #theartsarea #staycurious #curiouspublishing #consumptioncollab #riversideartmuseum #inlandempire #art (at Riverside Art Museum) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9acMNMhAJD/?igshid=18legd6hhx1vq
