DENVER | Jokic’s triple-double leads Nuggets past Suns 119-91

DENVER— Nikola Jokic scored 35 points, posted a triple-double and didn’t miss a field goal in leading the Denver Nuggets past the Phoenix Suns 119-91 Saturday night.

Jokic, who had 10 assists and 10 rebounds, joined Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to post a triple-double with 30 or more points without missing a field goal.

Chamberlain did it twice, in 1966 and ’67.

practice tonight was great. I loved the drills we ran, everything felt really smooth and productive, and I felt like I was successful in a few of the things I did. and by the last couple drills, I starting thinking about bending my knees while skating. I totally didn't do it, but remembering to think about it is totally the first step. ... right? I wasn't sure if I was going to play in the black/white scrimmage tomorrow, 'cause those can get a little chaotic, but after that practice all I wanna do is skate. TRT starts back up this weekend, so I can go to green tape practice, and then C Team starts in September so if I do it right, I can do five practices (including scrimmage) a week. so stoked. all skates all the time.
