Kyle trots in to Nick's safehouse, a backpack slung over his shoulder. He sets the backpack on the floor before settling himself on the floor next to Nick and massages the strained muscles in his legs. He picks a piece of fruit from the bag and sets it on Nick's lap without saying a word.

Nick stares down at the ripe red apple curiously. “Huh, didn’t know hunters could learn new tricks.” He mutters cruelly as his grip begins to clean the apple off on the cleanest part of his destroyed dress shirt. "Good boy."

The large amnesia stricken hunter quite casually pins Nick up against a wall, distributing his weight evenly to keep the beaten man in place. Carefully, Enzo sniffs and looks him over with a frustrated and obviously confused gaze. ".... If we were supposed to keep each other safe and you are telling me the truth then I hate you even more. Nine years and you never once wondered or worried? Some friend you must've been..." he hisses coldly.

Calm, narrowed grays lock on to his captor. Nick is bloodied, bruised and down right tired. Thick, red liquid traveled down the con's pounding temple as his cut, blood-stained lips curled into a sick smile.

He remained wordless.
