This month Packserv adds the Asset Packaging Machines Accumulation Table to its rental fleet.
The Accumulation Table collects containers at the end of the production line . This table is also designed to reduce the number of operators required to load and pack off containers from an automatic line.
The tables are an essential part of any production line because they are a good intermediate step between manual and fully automated packing. They are also designed for handling any container size or shape.
If your production line does not require the containers to enter a flow wrapping, bundler or any other automated packing station directly from the conveyor then you need an accumulation table to collect the containers.
The Accumulation Table tops are approximately 1200mm in diameter, big enough to hold a large quantity of finished product. The top is made from food grade HDPE plastic and the frame from 304 stainless steel and aluminum. It requires single phase power, has a variable speed motor and is mounted on lockable castors.
A Note From The Managing Director;
I have had many requests for accumulation tables over the past year because they are so essential to the production line, I have seen a few alternatives, one that comes to mind is the ‘Dead Plate’, this plate is usually custom fabricated from stainless steel and resembles a ‘triangular tray’ whereby one end hangs over the end of the conveyor and the other end catches the containers. These plates are problematic because once the containers towards the end of the production line reach the dead plate they tend to trip over, they roll down the plate and it gets messy to sort and pack. The only effective way to catch the containers at the end of the line for packing is by using an accumulation table that provides the packer with finished containers in an orderly fashion.
