My girlfriend and I have agreed to love our kids no matter what they are - bisexual, pansexual, transexual, gay, agender, etc. But one thing we will absolutely NOT tolerate in our household is a Republican.

leaves their dirty clothes on the floorMe because I do that and Jess is a neat freak. 

forgets to run the dish washerBoth of us. Me because I'm usually too lazy and Jess forgets

pumps gas for the carMe because Jess is a princess and princesses don't pump gas.

drives when they’re going somewhereJess because I'm a terrible driver and I get really nervous and almost kill myself on multiple occasions. She's more in control of her emotions and has been driving for longer.

rearranges the furnitureJess because she has a particular way of doing everything. She's very OCD

falls asleep with the TV onJess because she likes the noise and hearing people as she falls asleep. I have to have silence to sleep. 

gets to use the bathroom firstJess. She takes longer and once again, she is a princess.

decides the temperature for the ac/heaterJess likes everything cold so it'll be kept cold. But if she's not home and I'm cold, I'll turn it off because I play by my own rules.

sets up holiday decorationsBoth of us because that shit is cute

leaves the lights onI have a habit of doing it because I walk out of a room or the bathroom and forget to turn it off or I fall asleep with the light on sometimes. Jess is better about that.

uses the bathroom with the door openNeither of us will initially because omg no. But after we're more comfortable with each other probably both of us because we've both grown up in really open households I guess you can say. 

fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber)Neither of us will fix it. We'll just calm a plumber. I'm not sure who does it though, probably Jess because ew social interactions.

I was vacationing in Florida this week and met the girlfriend while in Miami. So that's basically where I had my first kiss and got to meet my baby. I love this nerd so much 😍
