ok this is completely irrelevant to what i usually post but 

i accidentally deleted my old tumblr around late 2015-early 2016, and recently i’ve been going through google/archive.org/etc trying to find remnants from it ,, i’ve been fairly successful in finding old, embarrassing content to look back on but i figured i’d make a post about it here and say that if any of you have personal screenshots, reblogs or anything of the sort that involved my old blog(its url would either be irkens-and-operatives or too-many-fandoms-for-you [i...was young]) feel free to message them to me!! i’d love to see them and die a little more inside

Okay once again tumblr in need of a favor. So when I was a kid I was really into Hetalia(I know, I know) but there was this fan comic about 9/11 and America's nose started bleeding because of it.

And I cannot for the life of me find it. I think the original video/comic dubs of it got deleted some time ago.

But it just popped back into my head tonight and it's driving me crazy. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, has a file, or could help me find it. I owe you my first born child.

Does anybody have that one video essay where the speaker basically goes through a lot of the history of evolution on earth, focusing pretty heavily on the causes and ramifications of the mass extinction events? She reveals her thesis at the end of the video, and it's supposed to be a hopeful message about climate change and preserving what we still have in time? Pretty chronological, talk-to-camera w/ some graphics and animations, the usual.

Iirc it was a smaller channel (couldn't give you a sub count), and you could tell she was in love with the science and history of it? I think I remember she particularly liked the paleontology but i might be making that up.

Genuinely though: how do you search tumblr blogs for content? Supposedly they do that for filtering. It seems to work for some but not others. It no longer seems to apply to tags though. Is this just completely broken? /search/ used to work that way. Now it doesn’t.

I want to connect with some more blogs that talk about my interests!
