closed starter for @grapefruitey from arthur wells
"I reckon that I ought to get going," Arthur slides his coat onto his arms as he lifts up from where he is sitting. The movement is stiff, his shoulders tight. But he doesn't know what else to do other than to bid the other adieu. At the heart of him, he remains a coward, and doesn't want to acknowledge what may or may not be building between him and the other. "Thank you. For the company." A part of him wishes that he could promise another meet-up, yet he remains illusive as always, never knowing when he is overstepping or when he might come up short to expectations.
