We were showed good and bad poses, which taught me to have confidence and skills, so your client doesn't control you. It is very important that you have full control on poses and styling so you can provide the best images.

Describe their photography
Its not that great in my opinion. Its quite low standard type of work. They charge quite less money for poor quality images. Group shots are quite bad. 1st birthdays photos have same theme for all the shoots. They dnt have variety in their images.
