Wedding photography can be good and bad, but it is a money making business. Our research was about recognising good and bad wedding photography. We were showed good and bad poses, which taught me to have confidence and skills, so your client doesn't control you. It is very important that you have full control on poses and styling so you can provide the best images.

KK Snaps is based in glasgow. They have their photography studio in glasgow.
What service they provide ?
They provide wedding, studio, events, family portrait and family gathering photography.
Who their market is?

They have a website, facebook and instagram account.
Are they qualified?
It doesnt say anything about their qualification on their website.
Charges?
£130 for 60 images
£180 for 80 images
£155 for full shoot
They take £100 to £125 deposit which depnds on the shoot
Awards?
They don’t have any awards mensioned on their website.
Describe their photography
Its not that great in my opinion. Its quite low standard type of work. They charge quite less money for poor quality images. Group shots are quite bad. 1st birthdays photos have same theme for all the shoots. They dnt have variety in their images.
Documentary Photo Book
After creating my book I took it to the lecturer to get approved. The book was approved with one little suggestion to swap two of the images. I altered the book and then sent for it to be printed using Blurb. The estimated delivery date is the 14th March. (I will update when book arrives) I got my book printed standard landscape 25 x 20 cm , 28 pages, Premium Paper, lustre finish.
Update:
The book has arrived on the 12th of March. The lustre finish is really nice and complements the work although the images look just a tad colder on in the book than they do on screen. I have used ‘colormonki’ to calibrate my laptop monitor.

Something Old Research
For my something old project I decided to use old rusty tools as my main subject as my step dad is a mechanic and has many old interesting looking tools. I tried to look at other photographers that have shot this kind of subject before
Harold Ross - Photographer :
Harold Ross’s images are lit with precision. Harold uses the playing with light technique to have total control over the areas he wants to light in the photographs. I will try this technique for my object and see how It works for my image.
