How I would continue the MONSTERVERSE (part 2):

Well I’m back with more ideas I didn’t want to make the other post too long so here’s part 2 of how I would continue the monsterverse with some basic ideas and concepts I’ve thought about for awhile. Let me know what you guys think!

1: Godzilla 1954:

This film would take place and completely focus on the events of Godzilla’s discovery and appearance in 1954 and how the government and the world tried to cover up everything. This would be more of a legit remake to the original 1954 film Gojira since the 2014 film didn’t really focus on what happened then which should be one of the most important moments in the history of the monsterverse.

Similar theme to the 2014 film where it is a more dark thriller.

Maybe have Godzilla attack Tokyo like the original film and show the more dark, sinister and scary part of Godzilla.

Delve more into Godzilla’s history and lore once again.

Maybe have the main characters try to prove Godzilla’s innocence and humanity’s wrongful ways on how they are treating him and the whole situation in general.

2: Kong: Return to Skull Island:

I don’t think Kong would completely abandon one of his homes that he mostly grew up in his whole life so I think having him return to the island for another movie would be pretty fitting:

Maybe an evil group of people are planning renovating Skull Island for their own use which Kong senses and gets upset leading him on his journey back to his home.

Kong usually sides with the humans so maybe having this one be about him turning against them would be a cool twist.

The bad guy of this could maybe be Apex trying to restart their tech program. Maybe having the Gotengo (the flying battleship from Godzilla: Final wars) could be the new weapon to destroying Titans that Kong has to fight.

3: Monsterverse animated series:

I thought it would be cool to bring Godzilla back into cartoon animation. This wouldn’t be for kids but it would be like a retelling of the monsterverse in a more wacky sci-fi fantasy realm with the same monsterverse Titans and human characters. The monsters this time around would have more of a human personality.

An episodic show with many different comedic sci-fi fantasy stories in an alternate monsterverse realm.

Just to bring more variety to the franchise. Seeing the Titans and humans in a completely different way visually and with different characteristics.

Focus more time on the monsters and introduce new characters, creatures and ideas with no boundaries on realism or where to take the series to bring back those old ridiculous sci-fi fantasy elements like in the old Toho movies.

4: Rodan: The Fire Demon:

Similar to the mothra idea from the last part this one would focus on another infamous titan important to the monsterverse. Rodan erupting from the volcano was definitely one of my favorite parts in Godzilla KOTM so I always wanted to have more Rodan action in other films.

For this movie Rodan has a familiar situation Kong had where he can’t find a proper place to call home. Nowhere on the planet seems to be the right fit for him and all his home searching is only causing problems between him and humanity with only a few humans actually understanding his situation.

After too many close calls and destruction and Godzilla not taking any action against him, the government is debating whether or not they should exterminate Rodan themselves to end his mayhem.

Before being exterminated by humanity Rodan would prove his innocence by destroying another titan that resides in a volcano: Obsidious (from the Godzilla Unleashed video game) after defeating him humanity takes Rodan off their hit list and Rodan now has a home after destroying Obsidious and taking over his crib.

Ok that is all I got for good this time, these ideas do seem a bit far fetched and ridiculous but hey I like em 🤷🏻‍♂️ hope you enjoyed all this, let me know what you liked and didn’t like or what you would change and add to the monsterverse. So I just got back from seeing Godzilla vs Kong (big monsters demand a big screen). It was fun! Naturally, I'm all for Warner, Toho and Legendary continuing the Monsterverse, and I even have an idea for where it could go next.

I couldn't help but think, looking at the Warbats...

...that they have a somewhat familiar looking wing design.

Snuggling with Himari

Hey everyone I’m back to drawing more regularly. Still working on some anxiety issues, but I am much more stable than I was 2 weeks ago.

Anyways I’ve wanted to make this comic for 2 months, but I had other drawings in progress then my new college and anxiety hit me like a brick wall. However I have started to try making drawings with digital painting as some might call it (no line art) we will see where that leads.

When I made this I figured I would draw them having their own couple time, to show how their relationship was, and tap into Himari’s personality a little more. Poor girl loves the companionship, but often over worry’s herself about her partner. Part of it is the shyness in her personality. Godzilla despite being a hot head time to time, was quite patient and understanding with her. Godzilla may be big and tough, but he does have a softness in his heart that he will only show to a select few.
