I really hate the fact that I can go for weeks and get all of these great ideas in my head with conversations and one-liners and action sequences, and then I sit down at the computer and...nothing. Nothing comes out. It’s incredibly frustrating. Aspen and Krei are just not cooperating with me...
So, a few people have noticed that there have been a lack of writing updates over the past few weeks.
And there’s a good reason for that.
...Let me just think up one real quick. In all seriousness, the writing has been very slow going. In addition to the normal story I’m working on, I have a different fic that I’m working on as well. One of them is Artifact, the story I’ve been mentioning a few times. That story will not come out until I think it’s 100% perfect. I’m that paranoid about it. I have more done with the other one, so I’m looking to release that one next week. What does it involve? Aunt Cass going back to school. Her school.
And if you read Chapter 10 of Continuity II, you know exactly what that school is.
Trying to write, and the inspiration’s not coming to me.
All I can think about is Peni’s patrol song, done by the same person that did her pseudo-theme song for the movie. Imagine Peni, in her BH6 version of S.P.I.D.E.R., coming in to stop whatever shenanigans you’re up to. Dammit, Peni. I’m suppose to be focusing on Aspen, not you. Go on patrol or something.
Literally can’t decide...
The final chapter of Continuity II is done. And thus, the Continuity series will be drawing to a close. It’s bittersweet, because I’ve spent a lot of hours on these stories, but I know that many, many people have enjoyed reading these along with the episodes.
The schtick got pushed to the side as the show ended, but I’m very happy with the consistency that I was able to get these written. Of course, this isn’t the end of my stories as a whole. We still have a lot coming down the pipeline. But now I don’t have to worry about making one once a week. Or one a day when Season 2 was airing one new episode a day.
That was rough.

You know, when I made the point that Wasabi was applying to be in some secret government organization (that’s totally not S.W.O.R.D., by the way) in Continuity II (”Job Security”), I didn’t think much of it.
And then I actually reread the first three issues. Eden Fesi? A.K.A. Manifold?
Wrong color, but he’s very Wasabi-y. Wasabi does make a very good logistics person. Dunno what to do about the teleportation thing, though. I love the happy little accidents that happen in my fanfiction.
“By the way, if you’re ever in need of a good public relations person who’s Asian, fearless, and is desperate to get out of San Diego, give my sister a ring. She’s really good at her job.” That feeling when you advance the plot, give Judy some spotlight, and subtly hint at her last name...all at the same time.
The next chapter of Continuity II will not be going up as of yet. It may be posted later today or tomorrow.
Chapter’s not quite where I want it to be, and I’ve always said that I’m not going to put something up that I’m not 100% satisfied with.
That and a new idea that I wanted to put in is making pacing issues. If it comes out today, cool. If not, then tomorrow. Apologies for people expecting it now.
