Casper drops by to give Yuki a card that says "I promise i don't love you on only one day of the year I'm just shit at expressing my feelings on all the other days" in big bold print, but inside is a cute haiku about how much he loves her. And also chocolates. He kisses her forehead too. A good boyfriend.
@contracas - a valentine thing ( accepting? )
yuki holds back a giggle but she fails when it comes to the smile that streches across her red cheeks. how could she not when he just kissed her? and gave her chocolate. he’s a sappy romantic, no matter how ‘cool’ he claims to be.
“hold on, stay here, let me read it.” yuki holds his hand to keep him in place, and completely ignores whatever protest leaves his mouth. casper’s been such a wonderful boyfriend, keeping up with different occasions and holidays while she’s been slacking off. yuki needs to up her game again. especially when he started using his writing as a way to make her smitten and express his love to her.
“..casper,” she hasn’t stopped smiling, in fact it only grew and reached her eyes. okay now she giggles and pulls him closer for a kiss to the underside of his jaw. “thank you. i didn’t prepare anything but,” she waves her index finger back and forth, leans to the side to reach the coffee table and secures the card on its surface. “i can improvise.”
it’s silly, really really silly. so cliche too. she’s seen couples to it, and cringed at it. look at her now. yuki holds up a piece of chocolate, risk letting his hand go to unwrap it but she figures by now she has him intrigued, curious enough to wait for what she has planned. “i swear if you laugh– say ‘ah’ and close your eyes.” the look in his eyes and change of expression is almost enough for her to drop it, her smile erased and replaced by a scowl. she juts out her hip and places a hand on it and repeats, sternly this time.
“it’s not like i’m going to bite you or anything.” she mumbles and he scoffs; great what did his mind come up with now? yuki brushes it off and gently places one end of the chocolate between her teeth, tugs him down by his neck– but pauses. this is really cliche. yet her heart’s beating like it’s the first time she’s seen him this close. the pause is longer than needed as she takes in the details of his face; the faint acne scars, his thick lashes, his jawline, his lips ( look close enough and you can still see the piercing’s scar )…then before he huffs in impatience she deliberately leans forward, locking their lips with the chocolate in between.
