Can’t Find My Way Home // Lorenzo and Pulse
Don't want to fall in love Don't want to fall in love again And you don't know where I've been Don't want to fall in love again
I will not fall, Is it a matter of love, or a matter of pride? Can't stop a broken heart from bleeding Don't make it harder than it has to be Nothing worth love is ever easy Love is never easy…
Sighing softly, Lorenzo strummed one last chord on his guitar as the sun set over the park he had spent the evening at since closing up shop for the day. Moving to set it in its case beside him, he then reached into a side pocket, pulling out a white gold locket. Popping it open, he stared at the two pictures inside, one of his wife Rowen, and the other of the two of them on their wedding day fifteen years ago.
Their happiness had been cut short three months ago, when she had been killed by a gunman on the way home from grocery shopping. Lorenzo had thrown himself into running the shop, but he could never distract himself as much as he wanted to.
With another sigh, he put the locket back into its pocket before closing the guitar case and standing up, glancing around for a moment before turning to head back to his apartment.
