#TBT Few games define the dawn of an era like #ContraIII The Alien Wars. You knew it was on as soon as the #Konami sound played then that grim music started and those words started flying across the screen. Everything about it took #Contra to the next level. The mode 7 levels that made it feel unpredictable, the #motorcycle level that led to fighting a battleship by jumping off missiles.....the graphics, soundtrack, and sound effects were amazing. The level design was perfect. I still feel like I’m playing something form the future every time I do my yearly run through of it. Contra III: The Alien Wars es el nombre del cuarto juego de la serie Contra de Konami. Fue lanzado el 28 de febrero en Japón y en abril de 1992 en Norteamérica, para la Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Este juego es, según algunos fans de Contra y de la consola SNES, el mejor de la saga; aunque tal distinción está disputada por Contra: Hard Corps de Sega Genesis/Megadrive. La historia del juego se lleva a cabo dos años después de los eventos ocurridos en Super Contra en el año 2636, en donde los aliens de los juegos previos lanzan nuevamente una ofensiva a gran escala contra la tierra.
