Controllerkind
Esoteric Strife Specibus
Controllerkind covers the usage of game controllers of all kinds as weaponry. From the common controllers used by common, modern gaming platforms, to the disastrously designed Power Glove game controllers, to the mighty controllers of legends, capable of controlling the physical world as one would a sandbox game, all these fall under the Controllerkind Abstratus.
Controllerkind can be used in a myriad of ways, by which I mean it can be used in exactly two ways. The first, and most obvious way, to use controllers as weapons is to simply use it as a, very ineffective, bludgeon. They could usually deal Low Damage whilst in Melee Range. The second, and far superior, way of using controllers as weapons is through magic. By which I mean the wielder could cast Spells through inputting game commands or cheat codes in their controller. This makes Controllerkind one of the few Strife Specibi that could grant Alacrity-based Spellcasting.
Controllerkind typically uses Alacrity as its Attribute, certain mentally wielded controllers may use either Acumen or Sagacity instead. Most controllers are poor weapons, and tend towards Low Damages and Melee Ranges. Magical controllers also tuned to low Damage, but with abilities to make up for it, their Ranges also tend to range between Touch to Medium.
Specibus Types
Controllerkind comes in two types, differentiated by the method in which it is wielded and thus its most common Attribute;
Physical: The default option among controllers, and by far the most practical choice. These controllers are your average Alacrity using game inputs, as the greatest difficulty in using it is in inputting the various commands quickly and efficiently while simultaneously avoiding fumbling with the buttons and inputting the wrong commands.
Mental: A more esoteric option to use controllers, even among the standards of Esoteric Specibi. These controllers are either wired to the user’s brain, or a psychic in some way as they are wielded with the user’s thought, and thus use either their Acumen or Sagacity as an Attribute. While quite a bit faster than Physical controllers when it comes to reaction times, these controllers also have a habit of picking up involuntary or subconscious thoughts, making them quite hard to control despite being commanded through the power of thought.
Examples
Delightdepo Controller
“The controller of the Delightdepo IV console your Guardian got you for your birthday. The console is reputed to have great graphics, with a rabid fanbase adamant in its superiority to other consoles and personal computers of all kinds.”
Type: Esoteric Bludgeoning Weapon - Damage: Low - Attribute: Mangrit - Range: Melee
Features

Certain technological based enemies may be controlled through it, should the user be able to find somewhere they could plug its cable into.
SBURB Advanced Power Glove
“A gauntlet shaped game controller, modeled after the hilarious failure of a product known as the Power Glove. It has been shaped and enhanced by SBURB, replacing all of its usual company labels with the Spinograph of SBURB. The glove could manifest a keyboard or a traditional console controller upon its fingertips to allow the user to electronically input commands, or to play games.”
Might - Type: Esoteric Bludgeoning Weapon - Damage: Low - Attribute: Alacrity - Range: Melee
Magic - Type: Esoteric Magic Weapon - Damage: Medium - Attribute: Alacrity - Range: Medium
Features
Game Input: The object is capable of functioning as an electronic input mechanism, allowing it to be used to play games and enter commands into various electronics. Certain technological based enemies may be controlled through it, should the user be able to hack into them using the glove’s wireless control mechanisms.
Simple Spells: Allows the Player to learn Spells of the First Order. Each requires time to learn, proportional to their complexity and power, and cost Shenergy to cast. These spells take the form of various game commands and cheat codes the user could enter through the glove, which would warp reality as if it was a game (Which it is, as the glove is connected into SBURB itself).
