I ---- You
This is my first poem I have written in four years. I need constructive criticism. Does it make sense? Does it fit the guidelines of poetry? I need help bc I don't know what I am doing.
There are many four letter words
two of which are very powerful
expressing drastic emotions
you can say one but whole heartedly mean the other when you read this and think of me, what do you think I actually want to say? what do you think I actually mean when I say it?
Nonetheless, I ---- you.
My thoughts on Artistic Constructive Criticism In short, It’s killing it. What I’m getting at is, Art can’t be “perfect.” The point of constructive criticism is to gently guide someone from what they are doing (wrong) to what they should be doing (right.) Right? So who’s place is it to tell anyone else what they did wrong in their painting? or in their photograph? How many of the greatest artist in the world became legendary because they played it to the books? Ill make your research short, few if any! They became legends because they thought they could. They didnt care what anyone else thought. They marched to their own beat. Art is you, an extension of who you are. If you make something and you like it… well damn, that’s all that matters! Don’t let the snobs and critics make you think you’re anything less than a master. You are exactly who you think you are. Exactly who you want to be. So don’t ever post another picture asking for “Critiques? or CC?” because the only critique that matters is your own.
